Take some time now to assess how strong your foundation is. Where do you need to improve?

  • Are you getting adequate sleep?

    On average, we all need 8 hours of sleep every night to function well. Think about your sleep hygiene. Think about a sleep schedule. Determine to follow it!

  • Are you eating well?

  • Do you exercise at least 30 mins a day 3 times a week?

  • Do you follow a routine? Do you stick to your schedule?

Are you struggling with any of these? Address your physical barriers first, then look at what might be blocking you emotionally or mentally.

For example, with sleep, we all need on average about 8 hours of sleep each night. If you are struggling to get adequate sleep, first look at your physical barriers. Are you getting to bed at a good time? Is there noise or light that disrupts your sleep?

If you have address these disruptions, then look at emotional and mental barriers. Are your thoughts racing at night? Are you having trouble turning your mind off? Addressing these barriers will help you get enough sleep.

Looking at your foundation through this lens will enable you to address the barriers specifically.
